Sustainability

Living a sustainable lifestyle is important for our planet now and for future generations. We need to have an awareness of the houses we are building, sources of our energy, waste we are producing and the products we are using to ensure we are existing sustainably.
Sustainability should be easy to understand for all adult members of our community, and not only by those in academia. This site aims at keeps things simple, without the jargon.

Health

Health

Toxic chemicals are in many of the products we buy and use. This can be hazardous materials our house is constructed from, the paint we use, the products we clean with and those that impact indoor air quality.
The site will explore topics to inform you in how to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Biodynamic farming

Food

Our food lifestyle is driven by needing to be fast and cheap. This has led to an over reliance of ultra processed foods. It is important we are aware where our food comes from, that it is produced sustainably and free of unnecessary chemicals.
The site is keen to provide an insight into more sustainable farming practices; be that how crops are grown or animals raised.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all". This site will be guided by these sustainable development goals, specifically:

13: Climate Action

15: Life on land
